    This heated up until the point of melting the HDMI port so I have some video issues, but I don't need that addressed right now, I just need to do some thing about the heat.

    If your console is already well-ventilated and it's still heating up to the point that its HDMI port has melted, I'd suggest having it serviced. Microsoft no longer offers Out-of-Warranty service options for Xbox One consoles, so I'm afraid you'll need to have a third-party repair your console.

    As for the holes you want to make on the console, I do not recommend it, and being completely honest, I don't think they would help with its overheating issues. In this case, the best thing to do would be to have your console serviced.

    Yes I have, It has the same fan as the ps5 and I was wondering if I could put some holes in the bottom for the fan so it can grab some air and blow it at the hot air to blow the hot air out.

    The console is already optimized for airflow. Please do not use external fans of any kind as these may actually compromise static pressure inside the console.
