How to manage\update multiple Xboxes (efficiently) at same location?

Hello,

I regularly run lan parties at my home and I have quite a few Xboxes (18). Is there a better way to manage game updates than downloading them from the internet for each xbox? I have also tried downloading to one xbox then copying over the network but that is tedious as well and does not always work. I was thinking I could download the files to a separate device (pc or xbox) and then point the Xboxes to that device and download the files from that local source. Not sure if this is even possible. Any other ideas would be helpful as well.

I have a mix of xbox ones, xbox one s, xbox one x, xbox series s and xbox series x. I have 18 xboxes trying to download a game update with that many xboxes becomes a huge hassle time sync.

What Xbox models are they? Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S? Whichever model Xbox consoles they are. The best and probably the safest way is to download the updates over Xbox Live network.

It could be that your router is not capable of handling multiple consoles on the same network efficiently. If that is the case there is nothing you can do on the console to make it work correctly all the time.

Update drivers through Device Manager

Here’s how to check for updates manually in the Device Manager:

Point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then select Search.

Enter Device Manager in the search box, and then select Device Manager.

Note Windows may ask you for an administrator password or to confirm your choice.

Locate and expand Microsoft Xbox One Controller.

Right-click the expanded Microsoft Xbox One Controller and select Update Driver Software.

Select Search Automatically for Updated Software.

This is the part I believe will most likely fix your problem

2. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner and select "Settings".

3. Under "Account", select "Payment & billing".

4. Click on "Change billing country/region".

5. Select the country/region you want to switch to and follow the prompts to update your billing information.

Please note that changing your account region may affect your ability to access certain content or services, and you may need to purchase content using the local currency of the region you have switched to.
