    How to Make a Furnace in Better Together Update?


    In the Better Together Update, it says that I can only build a furnace by using 8 stone, rather than 8 cobblestone.

    How do I get stone to make a furnace without smelting cobblestone
    in     a furnace?

    It seems like a catch-22? Or do you think this is a bug?

    Or is there a new way to obtain or make stone? There didn't appear to be a recipe for stone in the update, so I assume you still get it by smelting cobblestone.

    Any info is appreciated! Otherwise, this game is going to be a lot more difficult without a furnace. :-\

    A: You’ll need to log into Xbox Live (no need for gold) and insert the disc. You can either wait for the prompt once the game starts or go to the Xbox Store, where you’ll will find the new version of the game. If you’ve either played five hours in the last
    12 months, or have bought DLC at any time, the new game should show up as free to download. If not, you can fulfill either of the conditions above before January 30th 2018 and then come back to the store to download. Please be prepared for a short wait, though
    - as it may take a few days to process all the redemption requests.

    So I'll just have to wait.

    Better together

    The last time I contacted them which makes 4 now I was told it takes 14 business days to show. I'm up to 17 business days and still nothing. Will be contacting them AGAIN tomorrow after work. This is total BS.

    I have the same issue here. Seems a bit unfair that when you paid for a game you need to pay again for updates :S.

    I also created a support ticket for this and they said to keep on playing....

    WOnder if more people have this issue or that it did work for someone with the disc version

    Me too, although in UK pounds.

    I don't really want to be double-charged and have to try and claim it back. A similar thing happened with games with gold bf3 last week, and that was fixed by the next day.
