How to lose a customer

After years I came back to choose the Xbox series s as my gaming console. I used Nintendo and Sony products before and before that I used an Xbox 360.

And my first weeks with my series s were great, I told everyone „for the first time this is how a console should be“, gamepass is a delight and the rewards program was cool.

During the easter sale there was this punch card - spend 40€ on one and series games and get 5000 points. Sounded good to me and so I put Control Ultimate and Mortal Shell into my cart and bought the games. For days, nothing happened. So I told the support about this, showed them screenshots, sent them the order ID. Nothing.

So I asked them again. They closed the duplicate but finally came back to me. This would be an known issue, they would work it out. For days nothing happened.
I bought another game, which unlocked 19€ on the punch card, I thought now it would work. But no, they just left me hanging.

I told them again, showed them the order IDs, now the whole thing was two weeks. But all the support ever did was sending me the same old „how are you? Great that you use our support“ - made me really mad.

But the worst thing is the simple fact that they dont care. They did not look into the issue, they even told me like „you have only unlocked 19€, you need more for the punch card“ - yeah right sherlock, I already did.

so now I spent around 60€ and did not even get those points. Thanks microsoft, so you dont care. Got it.

Dont think I will tell anyone anything positive about the series s...

Those purchases were the last youve seen of me.

How can a company care that little?
