How to log out of Fortnight guest account and link my son's Microsoft profile?

My son got an Xbox and started playing it before I understood how parental controls work. Long story short:

- Linked to MY email is an EpicGames account (Fortnite) that he purchased things on. That email is also my Microsoft account, where I handle the family account

- He has a Microsoft log on that I created that is an old email of mine + a password, so that I can then use the parental controls on that account

How do I get the Epic Games account linked to my email to be linked to his new Xbox and by extension his Microsoft log on

My dilemma here is that unless he uses his own log on, I can't use the parental controls. If he simply uses the log on I created for him, he won't have access to the things he purchased.

That's the goal, of course. But the EpicGames (Fortnite) account linked to MY email and MY Microsoft account has the money he spent for various things on it. I need to get that EpicGames account to be part of HIS log on. That's my problem.

Ok I belive you need to go tho the Epic page and log in with the epic account. At that poin once you logged you need to go to settings and manage the account connections. Disconnect your account and than connect your son account (or vice versa).

I would use his own log on, that way he would have all his things and you could apply Fortnite parental controls.
