    How to lift content restrictions on an Xbox account


    The DOB for my account is listed as 07/22/1989, I have no idea why I am not allowed to download a T rated game like Injustice 2, but I am somehow allowed to install Gears of War 5, 4, Ultimate Edition, and Tactics, all of which are leaps and bounds more mature than Injustice 2.
    Do not send me ( https://account.microsoft.com/family/home ) this link, as I cannot fix the issue from there. I am not a part of a family group.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    If you’re trying to install these games through Xbox App on PC, simply sign out your account on Xbox App then sign back in. You should be able to install games now.

    You usually see this error if you try to purchase content on a child's account. You will need to speak to an adult in the family group to lift the restriction or purchase it for you.

    Sorry to hear it. That code means that the content is not available in your region. Please be aware that due to governmental restrictions some content cannot be made available in some countries. You should see about petitioning your local government to
    lift those restrictions.

    You mentioned that your account has child restrictions. That restriction could be temporarily lifted, if you ask.

    It is doubtful they will lift the account region check but the console maybe lifted as the account region and actual region is a legal restriction due to the bans in some regions
