How to kill Xbox account Win10?

I signed up and bought Age of Empires. Ever since, I have an extra login on my screen. I don't know if it's related to Xbox but suspect. Maybe I asked the wrong question?

How do I get rid of this extra login? It doesn't accept my regular Windows password.

I went to the Xbox Live page and deleted my account but it didn't help.

Now that I have deleted my Xbox account, I don't need to login to Xbox.

Maybe it's not Xbox. How do I find out for sure?

you can't, a microsoft account IS the xbox account too, they are one in the same. you can remove some of the xbox stuff off windows 10 but it usually gets put back on when you update. don't forget windows is a service from microsoft now not a normal os so you accept this when you log into windows.

I would think they will kill it off at some point. Thought they were going to drop IE when Win10 comes out.

Okay, but on what factor does it recognises progress. Is it connected to win10 user account? If it is, how does it perform on using another pc? Its totally different account on different email.

Nope there is nothing in the purchase history and yes its the correct account i bought the dlc trough the Xbox app for win10
