    How to integrate Directx12 HelloWorld Sample with UWP application C++/WinRT blank app?


    I am trying to use DirectX12 along with XAML together in my Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app. I found this link for directX11 and XAML interop but couldn't find anything as simple as this for DirectX12. In this Sample Application they have provided DirectX12 and XAML interop but the sample in this is a bit complex and difficult to comprehend as it's using some asynchronous stuff which is not needed right now. I am looking for a simple integration of Directx12 with XAML where I can render DirectX12 graphics on a window provided by XAML in UWP application.

    Gears Tactics won't install on Xbox Beta

    So the games are installed as UWP apps (microsoft store universal apps)

    They get installed to the c:\Program Files\WindowsApps directory, which only the system account on the machine has access to, and you cannot take ownership of it

    If the store reset did not work for you, there is a Nuclear option to potentially look at

    You can delete the contents of C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder, and restart the device, then try the download again.

    Failing that there may be a different issue, so open an administrative command prompt, and run SFC /SCANNOW

    this will do an integrity check on Windows and attempt to fix any corruption if there is any present
