    Hi all,

    On my Xbox I am experiencing high latency compared that of my bandwidth and upload. Details summary below:

    However my speed test displays this on the same wired connection that my Xbox is connected to.

    Is there anything I can do to improve it? I've tried manually porting, mac address change, clearing cache (like they have on various YouTube videos)

    Or am I doomed as it is what it is? Connecting to the (Australian Xbox server) since I am in Aus..

    I am also in Oz (also Brisie) using FTTN and also have the same issue - high latency, but with fast download speeds (92Mbps down, 37Mbps up, 12 ms ping)

    With the new router and business internet I still see pings of 64 ms. During peak times it does seem a little better than before when playing online. Could be the business Internet but I'm not sure. All in all I am satisfied with the new setup, definitely
    seems more consistent. Too bad I can't get fiber Internet.

    Also I'm no networking IT guy so if this idea is flawed please let me know. I have heard of another way to check speeds on the Xbox at
    http://speedof.me but I haven't tried it yet.

    Another note about my current Internet is that I do have IPv6 and I use googles DNS servers for both IPv6 and IPv4.

    Sorry to hear it. If your console is at home and you're connecting remotely then you will experience some lag as it needs to connect from your home internet and travel to your work then connect to your work internet.

    If you're unable to get a usable connection at work then you may need to wait until afterwards to test the system and see what's happening with it
