Got it, I recommend changing your communication privacy settings again, power cycling your console, and then changing them back to allow game chat. This may help refresh your account's privacy settings.

To power cycle:

Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or on your controller.

Yes, I've played other games and it's happened, the only time I can talk to me friends is in a party chat. But I have a friend who plays on a ps system.
