How to i connect to xbox app?

I have been trying for months now but I always get the same message of try again later, how do I actually connect my existing console instead of getting the error. I've tried redownloading the xbox app.

Please make sure that the app and your console are both connected to the same network then make sure your remote features are enabled. Have you tried installing the game remotely? Go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features. Check the box to enable remote features and for Power options, select Sleep mode.

Hello,

To use the xbox companion app on PC and connection to the xbox has to be on the same network. The link attach helps explain on how to connect the two. It cant be done yet by using two networks that are not the same.
