Opening those ports should, in theory, resolve your NAT issue... might also possibly need to clear your MAC address if necessary. Be aware that, depending where in the world you are, you may not be able to get around a strict NAT

Unfortunately the password system for xbox does not allow passwords with so many characters I advise you to change the password to a smaller one.

upnp is perfectly fine, it is on by default on most routers, the only time its not safe is when you get your self infected with malware

I have not got that far yet.

Can I copy/paste or similar the password is what I'm after.

To type the password with a xbox controller is tediously long.

xbox does not use WPS correct?

Nope....you have to type it in using the controller (well, unless you went out and bought an XBox keyboard but that would be expensive simply for inputting one code). Any device that connects to the Wi-Fi has to have the password typed in so the router knows it can connect to it and you can't input it on one device to allow Wi-Fi on another

log into the router and change the wifi password to something hard but easy for you to remember and type in. and once the password is saved into the xbox you should not need to type it again.
