How to get someone to help me unlock my account?

My account was locked on December 24th, 2022 after someone used my account to buy skype credits and then refunded them back to my bank account. I don’t know why they did that, but it somehow violated the terms of conduct. I didn’t get any email asking if the user was me or to verify my identity, and ever since, I can’t use it. That account is a separate one than this one obviously, but it’s my main account that I use for work, and gaming. I have spoken to multiple representatives in the chat room, but they just tell me to wait 24-72 hours but it’s been 8 days now and i’m getting impatient. When I try to login it tells my my account is locked and to fill out a form on aka.ms/compliancelock and I did that within an hour of my account being locked. Is anyone else experiencing something similar or has went through this process and can fill me in on how long this is going to take? Also, can anyone from microsoft please help expedite this process. I don’t understand why something out of my control is able to affect me in this way. Thanks!

That’s not what I wanted to hear but thank you for responding. Do I just need to wait it out, or should I attempt to talk to someone again even though it didn’t seem to help the other times? Thanks!

Yes I did, and they told me there is not a phone number for the Microsoft online security team. I just feel like I’m running in circles trying to figure out how to get in touch with someone to unlock this account. I was hoping that someone in the community forum might be able to help direct me or perhaps someone from the Microsoft security team monitors these forums to help get in touch with someone.
