How to get saved data back

OK so I just recently got a PC and played forza on it. But like yesterday or the day before forza had an update so I updated it but it crashed and game me an error code so I reloaded the update and it paused 3 more times before the update was at 100% but it never finished the update because of another error code so I figured if I moved the game from my ssd to my hdd maybe that would help because Mt ssd already has a lot of stuff on it. So I changed the download location and now all my year and half of hard work to get all my stuff is gone... it erased my data on my PC and my Xbox is there anyway I can get my data back at all. Plz I don't want to restart the game or just not play it again because of it...

This also apply to my PC it doesn't have any data or anything on it either

Your best bet at this stage would probably be to contact Forza support via a ticket: -

In cases where saves are lost, sometimes they will gift the player all of the cars they'd unlocked, which is certainly better than nothing. It's worth a shot anyway.

Unfortunately if the game was not saved in the cloud it is not possible to recover the data.

Thank you for that. Please repair the game and then restart your PC before re-launching the game. Let the game sync.

Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > Search for the game > Advanced Options > Repair > Restart your PC.

The game data may have been corrupted or the wrong save storage was chosen but let's check this further.

I can understand your concern and please don't worry I am here to help you.

It all depends on whether your console was synchronized with the cloud and your game data was saved in the cloud. To verify this please go to “Settings”, then to “System”, then select ‘Storage’ and then “Manage saved data on your Xbox”. Once you have done this choose Online storage and select your Xbox profile if there is a save file of your game you can download it and start from there.

Unfortunately if a save file does not appear when you do this it is because it was completely deleted and cannot be recovered.
