How to get Powera Wired Controller For Xbox One to work on pc.

I have windows 10 commputer and I just started playing on pc but its really hard to control in games so I wanted to hook a controller up to my laptop but I don't know how. If it matters, I was trying to play minecraft.

If you have one of the newer controllers with built in Bluetooth you can connect via that. Else you can use a cable that connects to a standard charger plug and put that direct into your laptop. Windows 10 already has the drivers installed for the controllers
to work.

Xbox One and 360 wired controllers should work just by plugging them into the USB.

I find the Afterglow wired controllers to be good quality at a reasonable price and comfortable to use.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. It would all depend on whether the PowerA controllers are compatible with windows. We would not be able to answer that since we only deal with the official first party controllers. This may still be of assistance,

In the end, it should be as simple as connecting the controller into the PC USB port, and then letting the computer do the rest.

Hello,

one option is a wireless USB to PC adapter.

The second option I use. I have an Xbox ONE ELITE gamepad. I have a USB cable connected to the gamepad, I connect it to my laptop and the system will find the gamepad and without any problem my gamepad works.

if it doesnt work when its plugged in then they may not be compatible with windowsn10, you may need to get an official xbox one controller and plug it in with the usb.
