    How to get my Xbox back from a Service Warranty?


    Upon purchasing my Xbox Series S in December, the system would not turn on. First attempt at warranty resulted in not ever receiving a shipping label. The second attempt did give me a shipping label. So I sent it in.

    Two months go by and I did not receive any updates. I contact the customer service multiple times but kept being put on hold for 30 mins while they called the Hardware department. Always resulting in a call back that never occurred.

    Beginning of April, I receive an email that the service was completed and it was being shipped via UPS. The tracking number said delivered. The catch is UPS only delivers to a locker, said locker notifies me when a package was delivered. However, I was not notified. I reach out to UPS and open an investigation. They closed it but the tracking number shows that it went back to the hardware section in El Paso, TX.

    UPS says Microsoft needs to re ship it. I call Microsoft again, they say it’s my address. I verify my address with them, it’s correct. They call the hardware section, but can’t get a hold of anyone there and say they will call me back. But the call back never happens.

    Now it’s going into 5 months, customer service has been terrible. Everytime, I call it’s the same thing, they try and call the hardware department, they don’t pick up, I get told I’ll get a call back, it never happens. It has been literal insanity. The service warranty request at this point has registered delivered.

    At this point, how do I get my Xbox back?

    what gets me in the how to get a warranty service it states in section D) REASONABLE COSTS WITH TRANSPORT (INCLUDING PACKAGING ) FOR WARRANTY SERVICE WILL BE BORNE BY MICROSOFT IF THE XBOX ONE OR ACCESSORY IS COVERED BY THE EXPRESS WARRANTY OR ANY STATUTORY
    WARRANTY >>>>>> WELL ACCORDING TO THE SERVICE CENTRE ONLINE MY REPLACEMENT CONTROLLER IS THROUGH THE EXPRESS SERVICE SO WHEN WILL I BE PAID BACK FOR THE COST OF PACKAGING AND POSTAGE TO GET MY CONTROLLER TO SYDNEY OR IS THIS ANOTHER BIG FAT LIE MICROSOFT

    The email confirmation for your service order request contains packing and shipping instructions. For illustrated packing instructions, see

    How to pack your Xbox console or Kinect sensor for shipping    .

    Remove all accessories from the Xbox console or Kinect sensor, and remove any discs from the Xbox hard drive.
    If you send them, you probably won’t get them back.



    If the repair center sends them back it will be within 10-14 business days from when you received your repair back.

    Regardless of what it may say from Amazon, new Xbox One console has a 1 year warranty and 90 days for Xbox accessories, see "Product Warranty:
