    How to get my save file from xbox game pass and recover it?


    Im not sure if i should post it here or another subreddit but i found a post with a similar question so. I bought the xbox game pass on my pc and played it, specifically Persona 5 Royal is one of them. Im planning to buy it but not Xbox, maybe steam and im wondering if i can get my save file from persona 5 now that its not in game pass anymore, so i cant simply buy the game pass for a month, redownload p5 and get the file from there. is there any way to get my save file aside from buying the game on xbox store?

    Update -

    I figured out the issue but don’t know how to fix it with Xbox game pass.

    The latest update corrupted my latest save file. The steam version of this game fix is here https://www.reddit.com/r/remnantgame/s/BEdGOVmpkI

    You have to roll back your save to a previous save and your game will work. I even started a new character to test it out and no issue, game started right up.

    But I don’t want to lose my 60 hour character, and on Xbox game pass it doesn’t save the game the same way steam does.

    Anyone know how to roll back your save with a game pass save file?

    I accidentally deleted my minecraft world

    You may be able to recover it if you haven't played the game yet since it happened. Go to my games & apps and delete your minecraft save file, BUT ONLY ON THIS CONSOLE, NOT from everywhere. Then start Minecraft and sync your save file from the Cloud.

    Search your storage device/devices, the game saves can be copied from one to another, I've also noticed when backing a game save from one device to another that there is usually a backup file of each save, so for my commando I have two files, one has the
    commando's name, "Fat Bob", the other says "Backup of Fat Bob" or "Fat Bob Backup", something like that. If you have the backup file I would recommend contacting Gearbox Support, they are pretty good and would know how to recover this file I think.

    About once a week I copy my game saves from the HDD to USB just in case something zaps a save.

    the only way is to delete the game save file...

    Then when you load the game the xbox will ask you to recover the game save from the cloud... just don't do it!

    Try that way and see if it will work ;)

    1. Make a copy of the corrupted world folder & all files & folders inside, and rename it however you please. ...
    2. Start Minecraft and create a new world, then save and close Minecraft. ...
    3. Go back to Application Data\. ...
    4. Cut the files (but not the folders) from the new saved world folder.
