How to get just one game to work again on Xbox Game Pass (PC)

I have an active Game Pass account on my PC and have been using it for the past several months without issue. Now all of the sudden, after playing the game since it came out, Mechwarrior 5 will not launch. All of my other downloaded games work fine, but
Mech 5 refuses to do anything. I can click on the play button all day and nothing happens. I have since uninstalled the game and now it refuses to install. The progress bar flashes once and the install button appears again. Nothing else happens. I have since
installed Bard's Tale IV with no problems. Is there something wrong with the game? Anyone know what the heck is going on? Anyone have a solution?

So tonight I download some updates from the Microsoft Store and magically Mechwarrior 5 is working again. Hopefully it stays that way.

I have the same problem but with an other game from GamePass PC. The only thing I did was changing my Microsoft account password but i dont know if this is related because only one game does not work so...

I know this classed as @Beta@ software but we are paying for it also.

So all is fine on my fairly new build PC, I dont get to play much due to work commitments but I have the PC set to automatically update windows when required.

Ive been using the XBOX App for a while now and all has been fine until this weekend when I log in to continue my game of 'The Outer Worlds' only to find it wont launch and requires "Administrator approval required for installation."

I guess some update broke it somewhat, since the account I use have has full admin privilages, and all games that now require it were...

1, Already installed and working fine.

2, Were several hours into completion and have....(Had!?) saves.

Other broken games include..

Metro Exodus

Mech Warrior 5

Gears 5

Gear tactics

Horizon 4

All this several dozon hours of gameplay on them.

Hopefully this issue will be fixed soon.

Yeah, they need to fix this soon or what is the point of subscribing or buying stuff on the Microsoft store. I started playing Gears Tactics while I wait for a fix, but if that becomes broken like Mech Warrior...oh man.

I have the exact same problem with Mechwarrior 5. It works fine on my other computer with a different account. Super annoying and I have spent hours already trying to get it to work. I will check back here later to see if anyone has come to a solution.
