    How to get IP adress


    So, i just moved into my new house and i dont have my TV. I need the ip adress to conect to my laptop to play but, like i said i dont have a TV to set it up to. Is there any way i can get my Xbox'x IP adress without a tv?

    Can't connect to ceartain network (DNS?)

    I still think the problem is in the xbox not getting a DNS adress, as the adress there is 0.0.0.0 and it didn't work when I had AES either. Does anyone know how to make my xbox get a dns adress? Or just an IP adress in general, because I had to assign it
    manually.

    Your internet service provider and/or router manufacturer can tell you how. Check your manuals and documentation and/or call them.

    Have you tried to make a fixed IP-adress in your router, open the ports on this IP-adress and then manually choose the IP-adress in your Xbox? That way you are always sure, that the Xbox will use the right IP-adress. Having the Xbox choose an automatic IP-adress
    is not a guarantee for an always open NAT.
