    How to get EA Play to work through EA Play Desktop with Game Pass


    I have seen several people say their EA Play isn't recognizing they have game pass and should automatically have EA Play. And sadly no one has given a real answer that I've seen. I just figured out how to make sure to EA Play Desktop App sees your Game Pass status. When you first load up the EA Play Desktop and it asks you to sign in, don't sign in with your email and password. Scroll to the bottom and click on the Xbox Live login. Login through that and when it loads up you'll see your EA Play status is now active and you can download and play games.

    EA account wont link to Xbox account

    If you had a previous account linking and it doesnt say "EA play with game pass" under settings-> my account -> my membership in EA Desktop app then I suggest

    - Clicking Manage from the settings in EA Desktop app to go to the EA customer portal website and under Connections disconnect the xbox account

    - Then log out of EA Desktop and exit both apps

    - Then install a EA game from xbox app

    It will log you into EA Desktop and link accounts giving "EA play with game pass" membership and start downloading from EA Desktop app

    Note it says you can only ever link one xbox account to your EA account

    Thanks for trying, DaleGoins! You will need to install EA games on the EA desktop app. According to Xbox:

    EA games in the EA Play library are accessible for download within the Xbox Game Pass experience using the Xbox app for Windows via the EA app, now in beta.     No, no other EA Play games will allow me to download them. The EA Desktop app wont show that I have Game Pass.

    If you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass for PC member, you’ll need to link your EA and Xbox accounts, and then make sure you have EA Desktop (Beta) installed on your PC. If you don’t, the Xbox app on Windows 10 will walk you through the setup process.
