How to get digital English versions of downward compatible 360 games?

Hi guys,

I would love to buy digital copys of Fallout 3 and New Vegas but since the dlc all state that they would be in an undesirable language “Old World Blues (german)” e.g. I would like to know if there is any hope for me getting my hands on propper versions from
within Germany?

It would really suck to be forced to play the wonderful New Vegas in some [Mod Removed-Profanity] butchered and presumably censored version. The pysical copy from the UK included multiple languages so I don’t get why a digital copy should
be worse.

If anybody knows a legal way to help me out of my miserable demise, that would be great!

Hey there Daze,

thank you for the fast response first of all.

Since my account was created back on my 360 while living in Germany it most likely is German. My consoles language is English and region is set to US since there is no other way to make sure that all downloads are in English otherwise. If I would go ahead
and change my accounts language to match the consoles, I should be fine then correct?

so basically it would be exactly like an Xbox One game? Since language is English and region is set to US I am able to play all my games in English even though I am staying in Germany. I thought it was odd that some DLCs state an language and most of them
don‘t. Mass Effect 1 DLC Pinnacle Station for example is availible in Italian, German and English.

This can occur when the language setting for your Xbox Live account doesn’t match the language setting on your Xbox console. To resolve the issue, make sure the language settings on your Xbox console and Xbox Live account are set to the same language.

You must be sure that your region and language configuration is configured to the right one. In that way the game should be downloaded in the language of your preference...

Thanks for posting. All backwards compatible games, whether on disc or digital, utilize the Xbox 360 digital version of games. In the case of Fable II, the digital version of the game only supports English at this time.
