How to get cloud saves to work?

Please check your Xbox network connection. Make sure that your Xbox is connected to the internet and signed in to your Microsoft account. A poor connection can cause issues with cloud saves.

And then enable cloud saves. To do this go to Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage and make sure the "Cloud Saved Games" option is enabled.

Next is to Sync your saves. While connected to the Xbox network, your saved games should automatically sync to the cloud. If they're not, try manually syncing by going to Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage > Sync saved games.

You can also uninstall and reinstall the game to see if that resets the cloud save settings.

If cloud saves were deleted, im not sure theres anything to recover. Cant imagine if this would work, but deleting and reinstalling the game might reset the account back to a cloud save but since everything cloud saved is constantly updated...might be
stuck at the moment. How was the cloud data deleted?

You shouldn't lose your saves by deleting the game as I believe all saves are backed up to The Cloud so once you install the game again your console should just synch up with the Cloud and your saves will be there.

Well I'm 99% sure it's how it works lol but best get confirmation on this.

I don't thing US clips save directly to Xbox HD, but to US cloud. They may temporarily save to HD when you first save from game, but saved/ edited and saved are uploaded to the cloud... at least I think that is how it works.

Cloud saves don't work like that. Cloud saves get synced automatically if you login with the same account as you used before.
