    How to get bo2 to work on xbox series x


    Does anyone know how to get black ops 2 to work for the xbox series x? I just recently purchased a series x and found a thread on here in the community to restart my xbox, remotely download the game from my phone, i’ve done all that. I’ve inserted the disc in the xbox and it is still not reading the game. In my app & games you can see bo2 and all its add on’s have been recently downloaded, if you click start > manage game and add ons it will show “game installed + 3 add on’s installed”. When I click start over it on my games tab is also shows the option to uninstall the game. However there’s still a warning triangle on the bottom of the game, wanting me to go into the microsoft store and buy it remotely for $50. Any way around this?

My series x has worked for months before now, and all other devices on the network are working, including my Xbox one and Xbox one x. I have been having this issue since roughly the time that my series x last updated, is it possible that the issue is an overlooked bug in the series x OS?

    If you purchased the base version of the game it will work on Xbox One and you get the backward compatible version for Xbox Series S/X for free too.
