    I have updated the console as well as cleared the cache and even hard reset the system. All other games read and play just fine. Everytime I put in the biomutant disc nothing at all happens it won't even read it to install the game I even took it back and bought another brand new disc but again nothing happened. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated

    Thank you, that would be great. In that way you can know if it’s the disc (a very bad coincidence if the two copies are damaged) or something’s going on with the console.

    In the meantime I can suggest you to perform an offline update for your console
    That usually helps when a factory reset doesn’t work

    I don't have another Xbox to try it on at the moment but I can look into that very soon. I'm not sure of the builder you're referring to, I have the original Xbox one x first release bought when first came out and have continued with all updates available. It only seems to have a problem with the biomutant disc others seem to read and install without an issue.

    We can try to isolate the problem a bit more, for this please try inserting the disc on another console and check if the game is recognized there

    In the meantime tell me:

    What console do you have?

    Are you using an insider build / beta OS in your console?
