How to get back all my items after I suddenly lost my Minecraft account?

It appears that you have lost your Minecraft capes, skins and minecoins after signing in your account in Switch. Let us check and see on what we can do to help address your concern in a timely manner.

Before we proceed any further, we would like to set your proper expectation that if there is no issue with your Microsoft account and theissue appear to be a problem with the game, we will help you address this problem to the game support team. For now, allow us to do the best we can.

We are going to ask few questions to help us isolate the issue further.

1. Which device do you usually play your Minecraft game?

2. What is the exact link where you have access and create a new account?

3. Is it the first time you are trying to link your Microsoft account in your Switch device to play Minecraft?

4. Have you already migrated your Mojang account to a Microsoft account?

For the meantime, try to check your capes, skins and minecoins from Minecraft Marketplace in your device. Try signing in also your Minecraft account to the link and see if you can sign in just fine using your account. Here is the link: Sign in | Minecraft

actually, my microsoft account is still there, but when i opened my minecraft launcher it said get minecraft which is very odd, then i found out that my minecraft was suddenly gone from my account, i have proof that i bought it, can i get it back by some verifications or something. I still have my microsoft account but that account dosent have minecraft...

We understand that you are trying to join with your friends in playing Minecraft. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner for you to get back to gaming.

There is a possibility that this issue is related to the account, it could be the account signed into Microsoft Store, Xbox app and Minecraft Launcher. Or else, related to the Launcher you have used or Xbox Network. Let us isolate the issue as we ask for details about your concern.

1. May we know where did you install Minecraft Launcher, Microsoft Store or Minecraft website?
   
2. What is the status of your Xbox Network? Please take a screenshot.
   
   • For Windows 10:
     
     • PC Settings > Gaming > Xbox Network and check the NAT Type.
       
     • Look for NAT Type.
       
     • Please reply with a screenshot or picture of the Xbox Network.
       
   • For Windows 11: Install Xbox Console Companion app from Microsoft Store (click here)
     
     • Launch Xbox Console Companion app.
       
     • Go to Settings and select Network tab.
       
     • Look for NAT Type.
       
     • Please reply with a screenshot or picture of the Xbox Network.
       
3. Are the accounts on Microsoft Store, Xbox app and Minecraft Launcher the same? If not, you may sign out the account on the apps and re sign into the account.

Jeah. Had bought the game last week. Then i suddenly got thrown back to the dashboard , with that stupid question that we all hate. After i uninstalled the game, it was lost completly. Its absolutely erased from my history as well. WTF? I want my money back!
