Right. First thing, this isn't a question. It's a guide on how to do the "title"

    Let's get started.

    1) You will need the two-five (I believe you can game share up to 5 people, not 100% sure. But I do know it's at least two) account login information.

    2) I want to believe you will have to set up the account you want to share as family members.

    - It's pretty straightforward. Go to xbox.com, and log in to the main account that owns the game/games. Click on your profile in the top right, and click Microsoft profile. On that website (it's a mainly colored white site with lots of blue text) there will be a family setting somewhere. Add the members by inputting their emails. They will have to go accept this invite in their email box.

    - Congrats, you are now family members. (you can do this in reverse <i mean the other person's family shares with the main person> if they want to game share with you as well.)

    3) You have the Xbox App and the Microsoft store installed on your Windows device.

    - Go ahead and open both apps

    - Say person 1 wants to share Mortal Kombat. You will log in to that account on the Microsoft Store app.

    - Person 2 will now log in to their account on the Xbox app.

The trick is to have the person with the games be logged into the Microsoft Store, and the other person's account is logged into the Xbox app.

You have now officially game shared. Have fun!

    4) These parts are for extra information because I'm sure some people (myself included) had some problems.

    - If there is a pin code that pops up, do not freak out. (there's also a bug, that ill get to in a minute)

    - If any combination of pins you know does not work. We can change them. In your windows setting >accounts> sign in options > pin (you can also just search "sing in options" on the windows search bar)

    - I was not allowed to change my pin, I had to log in to some domain or some BS. I logged into my old college email, and it worked. Don't think it linked to the email, I went and checked. But! Once I logged in through the account, it allowed me to change my own personal Microsoft pin. Very weird, I know, but it got the job done.

    - Now. Try to log in to the Microsoft store with the main account with games. Try the pin again. If it doesn't work, change the pins on both accounts and try those. It should work at that point.

    - That should fix the pin problem, which seems to be a big problem, then refer back to the first 3 steps I mentioned.

    5) This might not be required, I did it just in case something happened. But I'm almost certain you don't need this step.

    - On the Xbox app. On both accounts. I set the offline permission box to enable. To do this you must be on the Xbox app > top left corner aka the profile pic > setting > general. It's there.

    6) If you game share with some of your kids, you might have to give some restrictions on the family share. I don't have a guide for that, because of the people I shared with. I gave them guidance/admin or whatever it was called under family settings. So google how to do some restrictions if you need them.

    7) Ah yes, the Xbox app issues itself. Being honest. It's not optimized well, at all. It's slow and buggy. My solution to that is just to restart the computer. Force killing the program won't work. Best of luck with it.

    - if that doesn't fix it then, go to your settings > app > apps and features

    - Search for Microsoft Store and Xbox app. Click the 3 dots. Go to advanced options, Then click restart, and then repair.

    - Then restart the computer again, if restarting it the first time didn't work.

    8) If you were successful in-game sharing, and at some point, you no longer are game sharing. Go make sure the person who is trying to game share is logged into the Microsoft Store app.

    :)

How to game share on windows 10/11 (Xbox app)

thats the long winded way, just sign out of the xbox app, sign in with the account owning the game, download said game then sign out of the xbox app and sign in with the none owning account and play. been doing it this way for a very long time now for my sons, on their own pc's too.
    This! ^^^

This might also work. I personally never tried it this way, but it's definitely worth a shot if you want to try making game sharing less tedious.

cannot connect through game bar to sea of thieves via windows 11

There is no xbox companion app for Windows 11. That's a Windows 10 app now defunct in 11.

    Please get me another agent.

I'm Samy an independent advisor. Welcome to the Xbox community. How are you?

Open the Microsoft Store app on your Windows 10/11, log in with the account that purchased the game in the upper right corner of the app. Then look for the game in the app and install it.

i can only play minecraft windows 7 with windows 10???

Yeah, Minecraft launcher for Windows 10/11 requires Xbox identity app due to that app was created on windows 10 launch

There is no way to install Xbox identity provider app on windows 8 and older systems (these apps uses a different file type from the regular .exe)

Try installing instead windows 7 64 bits and let me know how it goes
