how to fully uninstall microsoft flight simulator

Kindly delete all files in C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Local\Packages \Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache, and then reboot your pc.

This will rescan all your downloaded files in just a few minutes then check the game files again.

Based on the description, you have uninstalled the Microsoft Flight Simulator from the Steam app trying to reinstall it again. Let us see how we can help.

It appears that you are stuck in signing in loop with your account that was used to sign in to Steam app. It is possible that it is caused by corrupted saves or profiles.

We have found an official article from the game developer site that outline how to uninstall the game from Steam app. It was highlighted to make sure that all the packages (including Community packages) are deleted after uninstalling the game. The default package installation location is:

C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages

If you have installed the packages in a custom folder, search for that folder instead. Move any leftover files or folders to the Recycle Bin.
