how to force my sons to access the console with a profile

Hi there,

I'm a desperate parent who created a family group on ms website...

Then I created my family members and then restricted ...

Alright, my sons access our XBOX ONE S and play under those restrictions! GOOD!!!

NO

I just realized that, when XBOX CONSOLE starts, it shows a list of profile to access...

Then I see the parent and the members of the family and , on the extreme right side, an icon "IGNORE ACCESS"

If they choose that icon, they can enter the xbox and play with no restrictions (since they are not logged in with their restricted profile...)

How can I force a user to access contents of my console ONLY AFTER LOGIN with an enabled profile?

most likely the guest account is active

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Signed-out content restrictions.
Select Remove guest key.
Enter the guest key to remove it.

also any other accounts that you don't want them to access use create a passcode.

I already went there but it seems there aren't any setting to change there... or at least I didn't find...

I only see "create a guest key", but I already had it (and just removed to try if helps) but nothing has changed...

what can I do?

I followed your steps but I have the same behaviour...

when the console starts, it shows a windows like the one attached "who's playing today?"

if the child choose "skip sign in" (the last icon on the right) it is INSIDE THE CONSOLE and with NO RESTRICTIONS at all

totally bypassing every constraint!!!

Select System > Settings > System > Signed-out content restrictions.

should be able to restrict all gaming here.

1. Sons console is set as 'My Home' console with my profile (not sons).

2. Using sons profile he has access to my 'Owned games' but Game Pass games he does not. He only has access to them if I sign his profile out then sign in with my profile. Once he turns his console off or restarts it he only has access to my 'Owned games'.
