how to fix you have to be online in order to play this?

I already did all those things and it still doesn't work.

Please make sure that your Xbox game pass core or Ultimate pass is active by checking it here: https://account.microsoft.com>; Services and subscriptions. The subscription should show up as active.

And then restart your router and console. Unplug your router/modem for 5 minutes, then plug it back in. Perform a hard reset on your console by holding the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts down, then wait 2 minutes before turning it back on.

Next is to clear alternate MAC address by going to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings Select Alternate MAC Address and choose Clear, then restart your console.

Then sign out and sign back in. To do this, remove your account from the console. Restart the console. Sign back in and launch the game again.

You were in a modded game. Unfortunately there is no fix for this. You can try contacting the developers about fixing it, but you'll have to create a new account in order to play online.

Gold has always been a requirement in order to play online. I'm not sure how you would have been able to play online for that long without one.

FYI, you do have to pay to play online with the PS4.

there is a fix you can order the sticks online if you know how to connect them or buy a new controller
