how to fix xbox one error code 0x80072EFD

Hi

a couple of days ago i logged into my xbox and was greeted to myself unable to connect to xbox live even though the side menu stating i was online by showing me my friends even though they were frozen and wasn't loading from the previous day. I have tried
to restart my xbox, i have gone through the network trouble shooting menu, restarted my wi fi modem but to no success then i moved onto the xbox support team which to the guy helping me out he tired his best but in the end he told me to reset my xbox then
download the latest version of the xbox os and try doing an offline update. from there it went smooth however when the update was nearly complete it stated it could not connect to the internet and i have done this 3 times now again to no success. Now I'm all
out of ideas. The only thing i have found online that might be the issue is a corrupted internal hard drive but I'm not sure. Can anyone please help me out with my issue

Your best option would be to try and factory reset your Xbox. However, Usually with this issue is that if your update will not complete from the offline USB nor the online version, your hard drive may be failing as it will no longer write(apply) the update
to the hard drive. You may want to contact support again to see if your console can be serviced.

Go to the
Xbox One System Update Solution.
Select I am getting an error message or an error code.
Select I am getting an error code.
Scroll down the screen and select 80072xxx.
Follow the instructions in Step 4 to successfully update your console.

This is a connection problem, try to connect Xbox One with the cable and see if the problem persists
