    How to fix xbox 360s 4gb memory


    My xbox 360 memory had 2 out of the 4 gb used. After turning it on unused for a week it would be stuck on the xbox 360 startup. I waited for an hour and it said that there was a memory problem and I need to reset the xbox, but when I did it wouldn't let me access the memory. I tried formating the 500 gb hard drive but it did nothing, and clearing the cache and re updating the system was unsuccessful and no one can fix it within a reasonable distance. The only thing I am able to do on the frozen xbox 360s is go to the guide and even then anything I do there freezes. Also It isn't the 500 gb hard drive it is the 4g internal storage. BUT when I use the hard drive it gets past the xbox 360 logo but it is stuck loading on a gray screen forever.

    Microsoft no longer repairs Xbox 360, and please remember that the youngest of these consuls is about 8 years old, which is basically a generation unto itself

    You're very likely have a corrupt boot sector, unfortunately there is no option to repair Xbox 360 any longer, and there is no end user recovery option like Xbox One and up

    There were several revisions of the Xbox 360 hardware and several cheaper models were produced without physical hard drives. One of these revisions contained an on-board 4GB flash storage chip. It's highly likely part of the console's OS is stored on these flash chips. While durable, these are now over 13 years old. It's likely this storage has failed or is failing.

    There are loads of second hand Xbox 360 consoles available to buy. The best one would be the Xbox 360 E as it was the final version of the console.
