How to fix Xbox 360 live issue?

I can sign in through Microsoft, and I do have 2fa enabled, I used the auto-generated “app password” to sign in, and it says I can’t connect to Xbox live but the internet test still says I can

I suggest we wait for the meantime till this server status is up, just so we can check if it will do something or fix the problem signing in on the Xbox 360 server. But for the meantime, let us wait for the server status to be fixed as any troubleshooting might really not work.

This picture is on my Xbox series s but it says the exact same thing on my 360, so I’m thinking it’s something wrong with my settings for the 360

Can you tell us here what is the exact message you are seeing when connecting to Xbox Live? Or is it only showing that message? You can also provide a photo of the error message here, just don't include any personal information for security purposes.

Sometimes it will provide an error code, etc. when signing in. In the meantime, I suggest to try using a different internet connection if ever you have one with you. If you are using a wireless connection, try if you can connect it via wired connection if it will allow your Xbox to connect.
