How to fix voice mod soundboard not coming through Xbox game bar?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues when using void mod soundmod when using Xbox game bar. To isolate your issue, have you tried to use your voice mod using different application aside from Xbox Game bar? This is for us to see if what you're experiencing comes from the Game Bar itself and not from the voice mod.

So I updated my graphics drivers, and that did fix it, but it just ended up breaking once again. My PC can handle any game out there, so I don't think that's the problem. The only things I have open when playing games is the game itself, discord, and voicemod (soundboard). Resetting the game bar works like I mentioned before. Could it be because I shut down my computer every night? Maybe I should just restart the game bar every time I boot it?

Thanks for reaching out! I only used the sound bar to check if the transmitter was receiving the optical signal and allowing it through.

I have tried without the sound bar.

The voice sound coming through the USB port came from a turtle beach support rep

Ok so i ordered a microsoft xbox one chat headset to realy make sure this is an issue with the xbox and it is the voice chat will only come out of the headset and not the speakers even when I tell it to onlly come through speakers.... sooo how do i fix this
issue?

Do you have the sound configured in the Xbox to go to speakers or to Headset?

You can check by going to System > Settings > General > Volume & audio output. From there you'll be able to check output and chat mixer. See if any of those settings might be preventing audio from coming through the headset.

Also, try opening your Xbox menu by pressing the home button on your controller, then clicking "audio". There should be a volume bar for game vs voice chat below the regular audio bar. Moving this bar to the right makes the game louder and voice chat quieter, moving it to the left makes voice chat louder and the game quieter.
