    How to fix the connection problem with my headset


    Was gaming with my friends then my PDP headset just wouldn’t connect to my Xbox I have reset my Xbox series S then i reset my headset it’s self after resetting my Xbox didn’t work but it still won’t connect it’s getting power in both headset C cord and the wireless dongle but it just won’t connect please help me.

    Pairing with console: If you’re having trouble getting your headset to connect with your Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One console, first be sure that both devices are in pairing mode (hold down the pair buttons for 2 seconds; the power lights will flash when the devices are in pairing mode). If that doesn’t work, try restarting both the console and the headset, then try pairing them again.

    Hi, unfortunately still no fix. The only workaround is to connect either the controller or the headset via USB to the console. Having no problems if done so. But still I’m not happy how MS seems to ignore this issue :(

    Got it. To isolate the problem, if you connect a wired headset to the controller, does the same happen?
    Yes, the issue persists. What really confuses me is how my friend has the exact same RIG headset and his works with no issues.

    Hi. thanks for the answer.

    I did a hard reset on the headset, not on the xbox.

    Now I connected it to the PC, made an update (although it was not required).

    Yes, I'm on the xbox insider program. How can this affect the operation of accessories?

    I just ran a couple of tests and here are the results:

    - When connecting the headset to a PC via a USB cable, the sound works well.

    - When connecting the headset to the PC via bluetooth, the sound is interrupted every 0.5 seconds.

    - When connecting the headset to my Android smartphone via bluetooth, the sound works well.

    Microphone is working with no problem, in game chat everybody can hear me very well.

    I don't even know what it could be. It feels like a problem with the firmware, but I do not understand how to solve it.
