    How to fix the ABC error with Black Ops 3 on Xbox?


    I have been trying to play multiplayer on Black Ops 3 and keep running into this ABC error. I don’t understand what’s going on. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled the game. I hard rebooted my Xbox and reset my router. How do I fix this issue?

    My name is Ezequiel I'm an Independent Consultant and I'm happy to help you today. Go to your settings, console and then it will factory reset. After that, you will have the option of keeping your games or completely wiping your console, making sure you keep your games. After that it will take 5-10 minutes to restart, then you will have to log into your account and all other accounts on your xbox but this should allow you to access Call of Duty Black Ops 3.

    On black ops 3 i get the ABC error. On modern warfare it just says connection failed, or cant connect to online services

    I can agree with this solution. If you're in the insider program, then you have to remove yourself from it. I tried everything else and the insider program removal fixed everything.

    None have worked.

    I copied game from internal drive of a Xbox series X with a working Black Ops 3.

    Played from the harddrive on same machine, and it updated/connected to online gameplay. I transferred the same hard drive to another Xbox series X (the one having issues), and it went back to 100.0.0.12.0.0 and would not update. It plays other games with no issues!
