    How to fix the 4k issue on series


    Anyone know how to fix this happens to me everyday when I turn it on I have to power cycle the console at least 3-5 times before it changes the option is there and it does work when clicking on it but it keeps switching back to 720p or 1080p never above I’ve tried every option even the YCC option and I’ve even switched the hdmi Modes on my tv to 1.4-2.0 over and over again and it’ll reset back to this everyday I just want a permanent fix without having to do a tribal song and dance just to get it to work

    turn on 4k and set the resolution to 4k, then your monitor get the 1440p picture (downscale the 4k image) and your captures are fine again.

    As long as you have the series x he will enjoy it at 4k apparently if you turn off Ray tracing ita supposed to perform fine

    My screen turn on black when i try to run a game on 120 FPS

    What resolution are you trying to run at

    If 4k 120 Hz then no it won't run at thaf

    The max for series s is 1440p at 120hz

    It will play at 4k bur only some games and with issues

    The series s is meant for 1080p 120 max

    With suggested 90hz

    The xbox series x and ps5 and switch pro are the only 4k consoles

    One x does 4k at 30hz and ps4 pro upscales
