    how to fix not being able to join someones game


    when going to join my friends minecraft world her world dosent pop and she cant join mine aswell and when she searches my gamertag to invite me it says not found but i have xbox live and we were just playing together a few hours ago so what could be the problem?

    Kindly try to test your console's NAT type and your friend's console NAT type:

    Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.

    Under Current Network Status, the NAT Type field displays your current NAT type.

    You need your NAT type to be Open to resolve this issue. You also want to be sure there are no errors such as Double NAT detected or UPnP not successful displayed.

    Please take your time and let me know the results.

    Going into Nether Makes Xbox Freeze?

    I was actually able to fix this problemon my world. Have someone join your game and go into the nether before you. Then try yourself. It fixed it for me hopefully it will work for you too!

    You're welcome and thank you for letting me know. Have you already tried to reset your console keeping your games and apps? If not yet, don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    I apologize for the trouble. If I may ask, do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? A corrupted external hard drive may cause issue in installing games as well so we need to investigate further.
