How to fix my UPnP and nat type problem

Hello what type of network are you using on your Xbox. Because some different types of networks do not support the UPnP and the open nat type that everyone should have

This normally happens on networks such as VPNs & Mobile networks

If you are on your normal network I would recommend you contact your Internet service provider and see what they can do because this would be an issue that they would have to fix for you. From previous experience.

But you can try the troubleshooting and see if that helps I will leave a link for that here for you to try. Click on the blue highlight at the bottom of the page this will take you to the troubleshoot website

Xbox connection troubleshooting

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

You may need to manage your router settings.

For the UPnP not successful error please follow the steps below:

"1. Sign in to your router’s setup webpage, and make sure the router’s UPnP setting is turned on. You can usually find first-time help with this in the router manual or on the manufacturer’s support site.

2. Turn the UPnP setting off and save your changes.

3. Restart your console, your modem, and your router.

4. Turn the UPnP setting back on and save your changes. If there’s a Zero Config setting, make sure that’s turned on as well.

5. Restart your modem and router."

In regards to your NAT Type being strict please OPEN the following ports:

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port UDP 4500 (UDP)

also just to clarify my UpnP settings on my router are turned on, and I had adjusted it so the Xbox one s was saying my NAT type was open and that there was no problems with the UpnP but now it shows NAT as moderate and UpnP as unsuccessful. It tends to
switch between those two ways.

i am connected with wire all the time it's not the issue
