How to fix my overheating Xbox Series X and/or get Microsoft support to contact me!

Since the warranty period of your console appears as one day and has expired when it shouldn't have, you'll need to contact Xbox Support to have them correct the console's warranty date and allow you to create a service order, as that's the only way to address the issue since it's a hardware problem.

I know you mentioned that the callback service isn't working properly, so I recommend selecting live chat as your contact method; that shouldn't fail. If you're unable to contact Xbox Support through the provided link above because the live chat contact option isn't appearing for you, please try using a different combination of categories/reasons until you see the live chat contact option. It doesn't matter if the chosen categories/reasons are unrelated to your problem; they have the capability to redirect you to the appropriate department after you explain your issue.

It was the tv...was told that the resolution produced by the series X is a little much for it so it overheated. Ubreak fixed the issue.

It's not even remotely close to overheating. I live in Florida, my series x sits right beside an AC. The more I look into the problem, the more I believe it's just the plastic getting hot and expanding and contracting. Seeing how I've went over 10 hours never had it close to overheating

In my experience the notification about overheating occurs after you turn the console back on after letting it cool down, about an hour. I've never seen it before it turns off, and only had overheating on a Xbox One X. The side tiny vents were blocked with dust which required vacuuming out every other month.

Haven't had overheating on my Xbox Series X.

Elden Ring is resource intensive. Could you hear Series X fan working overtime while you were playing?

If so I would send the console back to get repaired and / or replace it.
