Keep in mind if you are connecting via wifi your wireless router could be your issue. They do die (more than we would like). Even if you are hard wired in through a router try a direct connection to your router, just to make sure. Good luck!

hi some times that is not simply the case, some times the router is giving bogus IP addresses, some times there is a problem with xbox live (like xbox live cant have people sign in to it) and like thor said router is messed up.
