How to fix error code 0x803f9008 on PC gamepass

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with Xbox App on your PC. As part of our troubleshooting, please follow the steps below.

Right click on the Start button then choose Search.

In the search bar, type cmd. From the results, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator. Select Yes on the User Account Prompt for the program to be able to make changes to your computer.

Type the command below into the Command Prompt window and press Enter on the keyboard to run the command.:

Netsh winsock reset

A message will appear saying to restart the computer to complete the reset. Restart your computer. If you are using wifi you may need to reconnect to your network after the restart. Once connected to internet, try opening your Xbox App and download games.

If the initial steps did not work for you, please try the Microsoft Gaming Repair Tool for Xbox App, this tool detects and automatically repairs error found on your system. Please download and install it using this link then run it as administrator.

Im having two similar problems, i have code (0x803f9008) and the sit tight???? Any one know how ti fix it??

i've got the same error code 0x87e00013 when an update is available for a gamepass game ...The only way to bypass that is to uninstall and reinstall the game , it's not very practical hope this can be fixe when the pc gamepass leave beta .

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! Just to clarify, for the error code, did you mean 0x803f9008? If so, it seems that the error code is prompted for when you're offline. If so, I would suggest taking your

console back Online or make your console your

Same error here, also not fixed after following all instructions you linked. What is it with these gamepass for PC games not installing correctly, ever? I've had the literal same exact error from trying to install VAMPYR before, all the way back at the
launch of gamepass for PC, and just now trying again, it still has this error. Fix your goddamn service already.
