So now this works for me too again.

There is nothing I changed, I did not even reboot the PC since the last time when I still had the issue.

So I agree that this must be something on the back end and you can't do anything about it locally, except setup a second admin account and install and play games from there in the meantime.

Thanks, but I am not holding my breath, I have the issue since December 23.

But yeah, not much more left to do anyway and I am certainly not reinstalling Windows over this.

I am just wondering what my local user has to do with any server on the MS end. My game pass subscription and my MS account apparently are fine, otherwise I wouldn't be able to do everything in the secondary admin account, which is using the very same Microsoft account for Store and Game Pass.

The local user shouldn't be of any concern to any Microsoft back end server, just the Microsoft account and verifying that it has a subscription, which it has.

I left it for a couple of days, not opening xbox app or any of the games and it fully worked after about a week. I think it's something to do with the pass server or something and just takes time to reset on the back end.

I have same issue started yesterday the 29, before that the app was working fine and then randomly just started getting the same error tried everything from reset to uninstalling, cleaning cache , sign out then sign in, nothing works it seems to be a windows problem not sure from app or update. I have like 40 games and now i cant play a single one ****, only options haven't tried are reinstalling windows or some users say creating another profile and playing with that one might work. hope works cause there's no point in paying for something that we cant even use.
