How to fix error "0x887a002b"

A week ago, randomly, my game (Microsoft Flight Simulator) started crashing, but not a CTD; instead, it gave me a popup saying "Error 0x887a002b," and then it told me that it might be because I'm using DirectX 12, which is still in beta for MCFS, but I was never using DirectX 11, so I'm not sure if that's it. I've looked at a bunch of forums and rolled back my drivers a bit and got a little further into the loading process, even until the point where I didn't get the popup anymore, but my game would just freeze. I would check the task manager aside from the game and saw that it used around 70-80 percent of my CPU, and then it would go unresponsive for about a second before having the CPU usage go down to as low as 15-20 percent, still being crashed. Any ways that I could maybe fix this issue while still being able to update my GPU drivers?

Please update GPU drivers. Make sure that your GPU drivers are up to date. Visit the official website of your GPU manufacturer (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel) to download and install the latest drivers.

And then lower graphics settings. To do this reduce the graphics settings in MSFS, such as texture quality, anti-aliasing, and shadows. This can help reduce the load on your GPU and CPU.

Next is to turn off overlays from applications like Steam, Discord, or GeForce Experience, as they can sometimes interfere with the game.

Then check for Windows updates. Your operating system should be fully updated. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and install any pending updates.

Kindly adjust power settings. Set your PC's power plan to "High Performance" to ensure maximum performance for your hardware.

It is important to monitor temperatures because overheating can cause crashes.

If the issue persists after performing the troubleshooting steps, please uninstall and then reinstall the game in order for the corrupted files will be deleted.
