    How to fix error 0x80070199 when updating game on xbox pc app?


    I am currently subscribed to Ultimate Game Pass on PC. Most games install and update without issue. However, two specific games have error code 0x80070199. I have tried contacting support but they were unable to solve the problem. I have attempted every fix I could find online and this specific error only came up once. The steps to resolve included repairing and restoring the Xbox app and companion app, and using a powershell to uninstall and reinstalling gaming services. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled all related apps, updated everything I could on both Microsoft store and Windows.

    The only course I haven't taken is reinstalling Windows 11 as this issue only affects Monster Hunter Rise and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. All other Xbox Game Pass games are working as intended.

    Is anyone else having this problem? If so, have you solved it?

    updates with the error 0x80070005 and when i close out of the Xbox (Beta) Installer the Xbox Services Update in the Microsoft Store disappears meaning those two are connected. How do i fix this issue?
