How to fix "different location" error.

I have a subscription, bought for europe and usable in belgium. But when I want to upgrade this subscription to the ultimate game pass, an error message tells me to "contact the support box", which I did with the chat. The man told me "the reason why you are not able to complete your purchase it is because your are in Belgium and your active subscription is in US and your payment instrument Microsoft money is in Belgium". I have tried the solutions he gave me but nothing works. I do not know how to configure my payment instrument so that it is in the US (and therefore in the same place as the activation of the subscription, if I understood correctly). Any help please?

There is a Youtube video that shows how to get around the error. Tried it and it worked. In youtube search for "How to fix the 1-80004005 Error Code for FSX".

Note that I did not see this error until I applied SP1 and SP2. The net fix was to run regedit and get to a location where the value was set to "partmgr" when it should be "PartMgr". Once I made that change in the registry it worked and I was able to activate
FSX.

i have the same error when i tryed to play online ,error the server is different 1.6,anyone know what this means ?and how to fix this ?

Sadly it is "the way it is" as you put it. Downloads from the marketplace must be stored on the internal memory while downloading, and then you can send them to your USB memory. Waypoint having to completely redownload is unfortunate in this situation.
