    How to fix controller affecting fps.


    Ive connected my xbox controller to my pc. After playing games with it for a while starts to effect my fps to the point of it being unplayable. In order to stop this i have to turn off and back on my controller and it works like new. Please how do i fix this.

    Is there a way to solve the controller drifting?

    Hello Shy,

    With drifting on the controller this usually happens from use. Especially on FPS games. If you are going to pay to have it fix you may want to look into just replacing the controller. Not sure how much they charge to fix this issue, but new controllers depending
    on what you get go from $20-50 for third party controllers, $60 for Microsoft controller. Note these are standard controller prices.

    If you do get the play and charge kit, it's like both having a wired and wireless controller at the same time. Anyways, playing on FPS on either one won't affect anything, so it's best to get the play and charge kit.
