How to fix constant connection issues to games

For at least a year, many games, excluding some very few exceptions, have gradually given me constant "unable to connect" issues over time. Most games that I try to play will never fail to give me "unable to connect" errors in their main menus when I load them up. I have a stable internet connection, have purchased Gamepass Ultimate, and have no problems with any other online service. It seems to only occur to online multiplayer-based games, and seems to have spread across different ones over time, including stopping me from playing some that I used to play very heavily. I own an Xbox One S, which I have heavily restarted countless times, and still haven't found a solution.

I appreciate your effort. For us to further isolate the issue, try to connect or use a different network connection. You could use your mobile hotspot instead if possible.

On the other hand, I advise you to setup port forwarding on your router. You may need to reach out to your Internet Service Provider or ISP to help you configure it.

My network connection and multiplayer connection say "all good!", and my NAT type is Open. I reset my router, which seemed to fix the issue for only one game that I tried, but every other game still gave me connection errors. Thanks for the help though.

Sorry to hear about the issue. This is clearly not the situation I want you to be in. Let's do our best to get this sorted out.

First, let's test your network connection from your console.
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
Select Test network connection.
Please also test your NAT type and multiplayer.

Let me know about the results.

I suggest that you also reset your router. Unplug it for at least a minute before turning it back on. Please consider performing a factory reset on your router as well to reser and refresh its configuration.

My one complaint about Ubisoft games is the constant connection you need to Uplay. If you are experiencing issues connecting to Uplay you need to open a Support Ticket with Ubisoft Support. They should be able to fix any issue for you.

What they really need to fix is the annoying lag, the constant problems joining as a clan, and the ever annoying connection issues to their servers.
