As for your question about how to fix the infinite sync issue, there is no definitive answer at this time. Larian Studios is investigating the issue and working on a fix. However, there is no planned release date for the fix.

Ah today news about dropping local coop for xbs and delivering xb version of the game this year was what i was really hoping for. Great news for me. I will be able to jump into the game within few months!
