how to fix authentication Microsoft service on Minecraft bedrock (mobile)

Which platform are you on, and which Minecraft are you experiencing this issue with?

Thank you for the update. Have you confirmed that your game and the host server you are trying to join are up to date and on the same version? Double check your app store for updates and ask the host of the server's if their games are up to date.

Also download the Xbox App for mobile and attempt to sign in to the app without any errors. Take a look at this Minecraft forum thread for a possible solution:

This could also be an issue with your service provider blocking the Xbox Live port 3074. If nothing else helps, you may want to contact your service provider for some help authenticating Xbox Live. Here are the

Xbox Live ports that should be open for the best connectivity:

These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work:

• Port 88 (UDP)
• Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
• Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
• Port 80 (TCP)
• Port 500 (UDP)
• Port 3544 (UDP)
• Port 4500 (UDP)

Did you purchase Minecraft for Windows or the Minecraft Bedrock version for console or mobile?

I ask because only users that purchased Minecraft for Windows are eligible to redeem the Java Edition for free (and vice-versa). The Minecraft Bedrock for other platforms (like console or mobile) is not eligible for this offer.

Seeing as this is occurring on an IOS device, and the application is not recognizing the login of the Microsoft account you're attempting to use, it is suggested here to uninstall, restart your device and then install Minecraft PE once again.
