How to fix an issue with my xbox profile after making a new primary address?

it cannot be done, you can create an alias (new email address) for the account and then make that primary and remove the old address. but the account will always be associated with that xbox profile.

First, add your new Microsoft email address by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/profile.

Once you have added the email address, set it as the new primary email address. After that don’t make any changes with the previous Microsoft email address, it will be set as secondary email on your account.

There's a quick fix for this issue, you need to create a new account alias and make it your primary.

You can revert to your previous alias aftere you sucesfully sign in on the Xbox Design Lab page.

Log in to your account with your current primary e-mail here: https://account.live.com/names/manage

On this page, you can add a new e-mail address and then select it as your primary by clicking on Make primary.

Then access the Xbox Design Lab page again.
